After a longer break, L-    did a few 1-minute poses and some longer ones.

These are two of the 1-minute poses, and three 15-minute ones.  I was tired, but it was enjoyable to be there working.

My drawing time on the Friday was a bit truncated, so it was apt that L-   was working again on the Sunday night, to make up some of the drawing time I lost.

My sleep was all broken up the day before due to Nuit Blanche and post-N.B cleanup the next morning, and in spite of good intentions,  I missed some of the first part of the evening's potential drawing time.
These are two 10-minute studies.

These were two 15-minute and a 20-minute pose that were the close of my evening.

October begins... welcome to Autumn in earnest.  On Friday I was out for part of the drawing session at the TSA, and was also getting things ready for the upcoming Nuit Blanche.
L-  was working. I haven't drawn her in quite some time. These are a 5-minute head study and a couple of 10-minute ones.

2nd Entry for Sept. 28, 2010

In order, top to bottom, these were three 20-minute poses and a 15-minute one. I had drawn quite a bit more of D-    lying down in the 2nd-last one, but the foreshortened body was a poorly-executed add-on to the study of his head, so I've cropped that out.

On Tuesday I was back at Artists 25. I was pleasantly surprised to find D-    working, fresh from his adventures down at this year's Burning Man festival.  He really lit up, speaking about it. The shorter studies were a matter of getting warmed up, and then I was very happy with the portrait sketch I did - I felt it had a lot of the character I see in him in it.
