I'm not sure but I didn't see any of your work from your "Unique Journal" published in 2003 on this blog. You probably won't remember me, but I found your wallet and returned it to you near downtown Toronto around 2005.
As a thank you, you gave me a bound copy of your Unique Journal project. I found many of the pieces to be very inspiring - although I can't say I know much about fine art.
I look through it often when I need inspiration to come up with creative ideas. I try to figure out the concept of a certain pieces in your journal - and then try to use that type of creativity and apply it to my own projects.
What a huge compliment. I'm really honoured that those drawings have had a constructive use for you.
One doesn't know what happens afdter work goes out into the world, and it's really gratifying to hear that it has had some effect.
Copies of the journal are still available, if anyone wants one. You can find some of the drawings from it on my Flickr account, which can be accessed via the links section on the right side of this blog.
I'm a Toronto- based artist. My focus is on the human form, primarily through drawing. I'm mostly posting work on Tumblr now(link below.) This blog remains a process-intensive diary of over 10,000 studies spanning more than 7 years.
(More finished work of mine can be found as well on my Flickr account - there's a link for that below as well)
