2nd entry for June 22, 2015
These are in the 5-minute range, all done with a fine-line Staedler marker and a bit of a Pitt calligraphy point pen on 18 x 18" sheets of Canson Recycled Sketch paper.
Fitting a body head-to-toe in an image remains a challenge for me. This is particularly truewhen I'm drawing someone who is on the tall side, when I'm up closer to the person, and working on small paper.
If it is really important to have the full body - or to have it a particular size, then I need to take some time to lightly sketch it and finesse the proportions into shape before committing to final marks.
