If you're interested in a broad-ranging class in drawing skills (including, but not exclusively life drawing), there is a 6-week course I'm teaching through OCADU's Continuing Studies program.
It starts this Wednesday night, July 2, 6:30 - 9:30. The class is running with a nice small-size group, and still lots of room - you can sign up through here.

Linsay's work was great, but it had to be an abbreviated day for me, as right after that 10-minute study it was time to head out to catch a free performance by the Corpus Dance Company (which I was glad I got to see.) Too many interesting things happening simultaneously...

The first six are Pitt calligraphy-point pen on 18 x 24" sheets of Canson Recycled Sketch paper, and the lower four are on 12 x 18" sheets of cartridge paper.
For anyone looking for some drawing instruction, I have 8-week Life Drawing basics courses starting at the TSA in July: Tuesday nights, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting July 8, and Thursday mornings, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting July 3. Both are running, and each still has space for more students. Clicking on the links will take you to registration.

The evening also had some performances. At top was a woman with a very nice voice who started improvising with the DJ's music while aerialists were on break. Below that are sketches of musician Eric Mandala on an african stringed instrument and partner Zu Zen on didgeridoo. And a quick study of one of the audience people ahead of me. All ballpoint pen on 12 x 24" sheets of paper, mostly cartridge.
Below are some more short aerial studies, maybe 1-2 minutes posing, plus some extra shading. All ballpoint 12 x 18", various papers.
