On the Friday I was back at the TSA. C- was working that night. I had picked up a double-thickness stick of the Nobel hard compressed charcoal, and was testing it out on the first and third studies.
These are two 10-minute studies above, and a 15-minute one below, plus some extra shading time while we took a break. I was continuing with my investigation of what might make for more compelling compositions. Compared with the top one, the lower two are, I believe, more striking as images.
