The Monday night marked the close of the summer's special Dr. Sketchy's sessions. They closed off with a Batman/Robin tribute playing up some of the homoerotic potential of their characters. I understand that's an area that Katherine, one of the hosts has explored within her own work. More excellent costuming was had.
The first part of the evening was (generous) 1-minute poses. The models initially worked with iconic action hero poses.
These are all done with hard compressed charcoal on 18 x 24" sheets of cartridge paper.
