I was at TSA on Sunday (late, again..), so I missed the gesture poses. M- was working. He has a very emotive face, to my mind - mostly a sense of vulnerability touched with melancholy. (Always a winning cocktail in my book.) That meant I spent a lot of time fussing with his head. I was wrestling with proportions - they weren't coming out organically, hence a lot of dark areas where I was reworking contour lines to try to bring them closer to the feel of M- .
