I was at Diane McGrath's Drawing Room studio on the Thursday. A- was back to work. This time she started with a combination of trapeze and hoop together, as an experiment.
The trapeze tends to create rectangles and paralllelograms to frame the figure, which combined with the circle of the hoop to make an intriguing geometric division of space within which A- 's poses were happening.
The double study has 30-second poses, the others were 1-minute each.
