These are 10-minute studies, with some additional later working on the top and bottom ones. I tried working with a grey marker pen and soft graphite. the top one is on a 12 x 15" sheet of Bristol paper, the other two on 18 x 18" watercolour paper.
The lowest one also has oil-based pencil and a background wash of powdered graphite.
