5th entry for June 8, 2010
These ware a 10-minute and a 15-minute pose that finished that evening. I still felt that my drawing was less `connected' than it often is.

2nd Entry for June 8, 2010
These were 2-minute poses. I have a theory that the degree of focus in my life drawing is adversely affected by 3 principal factors- level of fatigue, poor health and absorption in non-figurative studio projects. The last of those is a willing shift of priorities, while the first two are more discomfiting. That week the drawing was all a bit `off', I felt, and I think it was due to a touch of some low-grade bug in my system.

1st entry for June 4 2010
I was back in drawing on Friday. D- was working that night. These are a 5-minute full-figure study below and three 10-minute studies above where I fussed over facial features with varying degrees of success.
I had taught a class focusing on hands the week before, and the hands were well -described in these studies.

5th entry for June 1, 2010
These two 10-minute poses finished that evening. The lower one was the final pose, and I was starting to get tired at that point. Looking back, while there were a fair number of studies from that evening I was unsatisfied with, the ones that worked by and large worked better than usual.
