Entry for June 1, 2015

On the Monday morning I got out to the Heliconian club, where Murray was working. A 5-minute study at top and three 10-minute ones below it. Following that are a 15-minute and a 20-minute study.

The top four are Pitt pen on 18 x 24" sheets of Canson Recycled Sketch paper. The next one is a liner pen and Derwent Inktense pencil shading on some inexpensive Japanese paper I had on hand (not so keen on the look of that.)
The last one is Derwent Inktense and a fine point Pitt pen on an 18 x 24" sheet of Canson XL Series watercolour paper. So the last two studies have essentially the same materials, but what a difference the paper makes.
