Except for the middle one, which is the same material on an 18 x 24" sheet of Strathmore Series 300 paper. It has some active background marks, but i'm not happy with the figure and its' awkward head. I include it mainly to add context; that not every drawing comes together - some crap out in the middle of an otherwise okay drawing night.

The lowest one also has some dilute india ink and water-soluble graphite on it.

It was lingerie night at Round Venue in Kensington Market on the Friday night. Burlesque performer Mitzi Cream was there that night with some of her boudoir wear. The study above is a 10-minute one, Pitt pen on 18 x 24" Canson Recycled Sketch paper. The ones below are all the same paper and pen, but are three 1-minute ones and five 3-minute studies.

The next two are water-soluble graphite pencil and Artgraf washes on Canson Montval paper, and the last one is a Pitt medium point marker, dilute india ink and Artgraf washes on Canson Mixed Media paper.
All these are on 18 x 18" sheets of paper.

These are a 3-minute study at top, a 5-minute study and two 10-minute ones. All are done with Pitt pen and some dilute india ink applied with a Pentel brushpen, on 18 x 18" sheets of Canson Recycled Sketch paper.
The lower three are two 20-minute ones and a 12-minute at bottom.
The first two are Pitt pen on 18 x 24" sheets of Canson Recycled Sketch paper, the next is the same pen on 18 x 24" Canson Mixed Media paper, The last three are water-soluble graphite pencil and Artgraf washes on 18 x 24" sheets of Canson Montval watercolour paper.
I felt it was a rather uneven night in terms of my drawing. A number of studies were not worth posting.

Thank you again to everyone who came to visit last weekend at the Queen West Art Crawl. The weather was not totally co-operative, but it was great to see lots of new and familiar faces. Sunday was really lovely.
A reminder too, that TSA classes are just starting this week. There's still room in my Saturday Intro life class, and lots of other courses in a wide variety of media with excellent instructors, Get all the details at www.tsa-art.com.
The first two 15's are on 18 x 24" sheets of Strathmore Series 300 paper; the upper one is Pitt pen and shading done with dilute india ink in a brushpen while the lower one is 2B water-soluble graphite pencil, left dry.
I have been learning with the nuances of the different pencil grades of water-soluble graphite. The 15-minute reclining pose is a 6B pencil on Canson Montval watercolour paper. The pigment releases to a much blacker value than the 2B.
The lowest one is a 4B pencil on the Montval paper, which feels like a better value range for my taste.
