On the Friday evening, Carmina was working. These are 1-minute studies, done with medium compressed charcoal on 18 x 24" sheets of bond paper.
As a change of approach I was trying to look at her body forms as a series of overlapped shapes, rather than starting with more of a gestural `armature' to clothe with body mass.
