1st entry for Apr 2, 2012

(Tonight - April 12 from 7 - 11 PM the Toronto School of Art is having it's spring Open House. You can see some of the work from my classes and many of the other courses - lots of good work to check out!)
On the Monday after noon I checked out the AGO's new open drawing session, where I found P-   flanked by the Rodin statues in Walker Court.
These are 3-minute studies, done with graphite on 18 x 24" sheets of Canson  Recycled Sketch paper. (they have a graphite-only rule there, which doesn't fully suit my high-contrast, charcoal-happy self these days) The space was bright and huge to work in, which was a change of pace.
