( The Toronto School of Art's Winter term starts next week. I teach life drawing classes Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings, and a portrait drawing class on Wednesday mornings. There is still room in them, and you can get full registration info here.)
On the Tuesday night I got over to Artists 25. S- was working there as well,so I had a second shot at doing him justice.
The top three are 2-minute studies, and the lower two are 5-minute ones. All are done with hard compressed Nobel charcoal on 18 x 24" sheets of bond paper. The middle one had some powdered charcoal worked into the paper ahead of time.
