5th Entry for Sept. 25, 2011

These are 20-minute studies. The one above was also done with a combination of hard woodless-pencil type charcoal for the lines and dark values, and hard Koh-I-Noor compressed charcoal for the mid-tones. The one below used just the hard woodless-pencil type charcoal. Both are on 18 x 24" sheets of cartridge paper.
By the last one I was starting to lose focus and speed, after the stronger images made earlier on on the evening.
