(Those of you who like my figure drawings can come say hello and see a number of them in person at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. It takes place July 8th through 10th at Nathan Philips Square in Toronto. I'll be in the Yellow section, Booth 12, showing some of the last year's studies on Japanese paper. These three close-focus studies finished that evening for me. The top two are 15-minute studies, and the lower one is a 20-minute study.
All are done with hard compressed charcoal on 18 x24" sheets of cartridge paper.
