These were 1-minute poses that B- took. (a couple might be 2-minute ones)

1st entry for April 20, 2010

On the Tuesday night I was back at the Drawing Room session on Queen near Roncesvalles (which is open to anyone to join). There was a new person, B- , who was working. These are two 30-second studies and a 1-minute one below.

1st entry for April 18, 2010

Sunday was the close of the TSA's Open House, and with that came a full day of moving furniture and the like, right up until the time of the evening drawing session, but it all got finished. After a pause to shower and eat, I was back in sketching. G- was working that night. These were some 1-minute poses he did.

Like any studies that aren't otherwise noted, these are done with HB Conte crayon on 24" x 36" sheets of newsprint.

5th entry for April 13, 2010

Bottom to top, these were two 5-minute poses, two 10-minutes and a 20-minute pose from the end of the evening. The sitting pose was the last one of the night, and I think we were all getting weary by that point. For sure I was: it had been a high energy day, and the asrenaline was starting to wear out.

H- 's work was really good, and it was a treat to get to work with her in a drawing context - you can check out her troupe, Femmes Du Feu soon in an upcoming Fringe Festival piece, called "Plank".
